Just a stone’s throw from the square where the ancient grain market used to be held in Aosta, La Grenette offers a perfect blend of conviviality and high-quality ingredients – sourced and selected by the owners’ Bottega degli Antichi Sapori, a nearby store and established gastronomic mecca in the city.

A format that redefines the concept of contemporary restaurant, to fully enjoy the experience of eating at the local shop amid tradition and modernity.

To bring tradition back to life, La Grenette uncovers the history of its location, revealing its spaces and authentic surfaces. The interior design merges the restaurant atmosphere with elements typical of a gastronomic shop: wines, cured meat, and other high-quality products are showcased in dark frames, which stand out in contrast to the warm space, with its exposed brick and hardwood floors.

The visual declares the inspiration and proximity of the grain market, with original illustrations that give an expressive interpretation of the traditional tools used to process wheat. These elements are featured throughout all the communication assets, and turn into material installations on the walls to further enhance the restaurant’s spaces.
